Red series

This body of work dives into themes of how memory distorts and changes our relationship to our everyday environment. The inky heavy world of dreaming, heavy hands pulling me down to sleep, verses flying away and seeing my childhood neighbourhood from bird’s eye view. Like stains, certain memories reoccur, but when I pull them into the conscious, the tenuous thread disappears. Motifs of dream clouds, boats, nets, grabbing hands, top-view maps, escape routes and warehouse buildings can see seen in this work.
